Parenting. Just hearing the word stirs up an abundance of feelings and concerns: worry, pressure, and the need to get it “right” with no margins for a parent to fail. It seems like every moment of parenting is surrounded by multi-layered anxiety.

We know that 1 in 4 children are now struggling with anxiety, and it’s not just kids. 1 in 3 teenagers and 1 in 3 adults are suffering from anxiety as well. What can we do to slow the epidemic? And, even more importantly, what can you do to calm the worry-related meltdowns and raise emotionally strong children, especially when you have your own anxiety? What’s needed is:

Understanding the differences between anxiety and worry, the whats and whys, and where children are on the continuum. Practical tools to help overcome the worry that you and your child will inevitably face. Hope as you and your children discover a sense of resilience that is stronger than any worry this age of anxiety can bring.

Join us at Christ Methodist Church Sunday, April 7, as we welcome Sissy Goff and David Thomas as they guide us on the essentials of:
