Serve

During the worship services each Sunday, you will have the opportunity to
hear from and learn more about a Christ Church ministry partner serving in
Memphis and around the world. Check back weekly for more info about the current week's Serving Spotlight!
This Week's Serving Spotlight, January 29 • MARRS
• During this week's Serving Spotlight, we learned more about Mediation and Reconciliation/Restitution Services (MARRS), a Christ Church ministry partner whose offices and program space are located right here on our campus. Bridgette Bowman, Director, and Eva Lang, church member and volunteer, helped us understand their work and know how to get connected.
MARRS works to intervene in the lives of youth who have committed first and second-time, minor offenses. They believe they by acting in their lives now, through character development, mediation with those they offended and giving restitution, they can help these youth understand the seriousness of their offense and how it can and will affect the rest of their lives.
But how does MARRS believe their youth will be transformed?
- ...by people, not programs
- ...by individuals, not institutions
- ...by someone, not something.
MARRS needs people, follows of Jesus, believers of the Gospel to join their work. Will it be you?
