THREE-YEAR MISSIONS ROTATION
Our student ministry staff has been strategizing a comprehensive missions plan for students. As we partner with parents to bring students to spiritual maturity, what types of missions opportunities will help us build that maturity in Christ? It is our desire that every student in our ministry will have the opportunity to serve locally in their community, serve nationally, serve internationally, and serve as a family. To follow this model, we have introduced a three year missions rotation which will allow for every student to have the opportunity to be involved in these elements. Our plan is that this three year rotation repeats itself every three years. Students will have continual involvement in local missions with their d groups, as well as our continued yearly partnership with Service Over Self. Understanding Missions Rotation
Year 1: High School International Mission (2012)
Year 2: Middle School Stateside Mission (2013)
Year 3: Family Mission* (2014)
* Note: Other on-going family missions options offered through our missions department may continue yearly. A family mission opportunity officially sponsored by our student ministry will be offered every three years. For more information pertaining to on-going family missions opportunities contact Eric Angel.
