This Week's Serving Spotlight, May 13 • Pskov UMC in Pskov, Russia • Over 15 years ago the first team from Christ Church visited Pskov, Russia, meeting believers and dreaming of helping them become an established presence in their city. During this week's on-stage interview in Sunday's worship services, we heard from Katya Landess, a member of Christ Church, whose mother Nelli Mamanova was the pastor of Pskov UMC for many years before recently retiring.
This summer you have the opportunity to travel with other Christ Church members to Pskov to build relationships, meet the new pastor serving there and serve and lead in others ways. Click here to see the trip details or contact Eric in the Serving and Outreach Office at 202-6050.

Update! Churches for Children, CJay and December: During the month of March, one week's Serving Spotlight highlighted siblings CJay and December, who are in foster care, awaiting a forever family to call their own. As part of Memphis' Churches for Children, Christ Church committed to pray for them in their waiting.
Next week (May 20-27), during the National Foster Care Prayer Vigil, we're asking you to honor our commitment to pray for them, especially as several families are now going through a process, hopeful to adopt them. Remember than as this important decision is made, as God weaves together a family for CJay and December. Watch the video below to see their story! (to be posted soon)

(Strategic Asian Leadership Training), is passionate about developing
materials and seeing that they make it to the leaders and pastors
throughout specific regions in China and beyond, especially rural areas
