Residency Program

Residency (n) - a residential post held for a period of specialized training.

The Christ College Residency Program is a 10-week paid internship. The Residency exists to equip college students with a theological framework to view life as ministry and mission and is intended to prepare college students to work and minister in cities of global significance after graduation. >>Full details (pdf) 

Two tracks:

Global Summer Interns

- spend six weeks at Christ Church and four weeks with one of our global mission partners

Local Summer Interns

- get paired with a ministry within Christ Church that matches your gifts and passions

Four components:

1. Academic Instruction

  • Biblical Theology of Mission - The story of scripture and its call to a missions lifestyle
  • Gospel Transformation - The Gospel and its significance in living an abundant life
  • Christian Ethics & Apologetics - Allowing God’s Word to shape our decisions

2. Ministry Internship

with one of the following:

  • Global Partners
  • Family Ministry
  • Student Ministry
  • Community Life
  • Local Missions
  • Music and Worship
  • Pastoral Care
  • Urban Education

3. Mentoring

- Christ Church staff members aren't just teachers and supervisors; they are also spiritual family members who desire to share their lives with you.

4. Christian Community

- Ministry is a taxing lifestyle. That's why we carve out time and build in opportunities to simply enjoy fellowship with the body of believers, remembering that the mission flows from a desire to see the nations share in the joy of the worshiping community.
