Family Based Student Ministry

Christ Church Student Ministries exists to partner with parents to bring students to spiritual maturity. Scripture tells us that the spiritual development of our children is a primary responsibility of parents (Eph 6:4; Deut 4:6-9; Judg 2:10; Prov 22:6). The current research also tells us that a parent remains the most influential person is a student's spiritual life. Therefore, we believe that our most strategic plan to help students find and grow in Christ is to provide a program which comes alongside parents to reinforce what they're investing at home, guides them as they come upon these difficult years of parenting teens, and commits to keeping lines of communication open between families and the church.

CUMC Student Ministries is a place to grow in Christ, connect with friends, and have a lot of fun! Our prayer is that students from CUMC and across Memphis might join together here and worship together, study God's Word together, and support each other in a life devoted to Jesus. We look forward to the awesome trips, unique events, and shared experiences as we glorify God inside and outside the walls of this church.
