Nursery

Our church nursery supports our parents as they attend Worship Services, Sunday School classes, Small Groups, Bible Studies, participate in outreach activities or give their service to the church. Children ages 6 weeks old through 2 years are welcome on Sunday mornings and through 4 years for other events.

Reservations

When you register online for a CUMC activity where child care is offered, be sure to indicate that you need child care along with names and birth dates of the children. If online registration is not offered, call Rebekah Kessler 261-2132 in advance to make a reservation.

Wellness Policy

We make many efforts to keep the nursery a healthy, clean and germ-free environment. All aprons, sheets and blankets are washed after each use. Toys, high chairs and tables are disinfected daily. The floors and carpets are vacuumed and cleaned daily, and teachers are trained to wash their hands continually to aid in preventing the spread of germs.

A child who has been free of the following symptoms for the past 24 hours can come to the nursery: fever, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, rash, eye infections, communicable skin infections (impetigo, boils, ringworm), runny nose (except for clear) and childhood diseases (such as chicken pox, mumps, measles, rubella, pertussis, scarlet fever).

If your child currently has any of the above symptoms, we will not be able to accept him or her. If a child develops any of the above symptoms while in our care, we will ask you to come get the child.
