Night Worship
Night Worship is a new worship expression at Christ Church that seeks to merge the ancient ways of the Church with modern culture. The hope is that this service will reach out to those who’ve never given church a try, those who thought they were done with church all together, those who find Sunday mornings hard to manage on a regular basis and those who simply want to experience Christ Church in a new and fresh way.
Ancient + Modern = Night Worship
Ancient
We believe the Church is not only made up of those you see on a weekly basis, but also those who’ve paved the way for 2,000 plus years. This means we want to have one foot in the past and hold tightly to the hymns, creeds and traditions we are so blessed to have passed down to us today.
Modern
We believe the Church is constantly creating and shaping this world today and for tomorrow. Because we’re 21st century people, it is important to sing, interact and teach in a way someone can understand and participate with. This means we want to have one foot in today and hold tightly to the means by which people can understand the Gospel and participate in the service.
Questions about Night worship
What to expect at Night Worship?
This service will be identical in vision and teaching to a Sunday morning but within an Ancient Modern context. The atmosphere will be casual and engaging with longer teaching times to unpack the truths of the Bible and a time for communion and prayer.
How can you be part of Night Worship?
We are looking for people to help with communion, hospitality and children. If you are interested in making this your primary service to worship and want to volunteer, contact
