Lil' Trekkers
During the formative years, kids are like little sponges soaking up everything they hear and see in the world around them with a sense of awe and wonder. In our environment, Lil' Trekkers for birth through age 5 (kids not yet in Kindergarten), we focus this wonder around truths: God MADE me, God LOVES me and Jesus wants to be my FOREVER friend. When they move onto Kindergarten there's no doubt they know God is a creator who loves them and wants to have a relationship with them.
We want them to know that God is big enough to handle whatever they will face and learn to trust this loving, powerful Father. One milestone we work toward with this age group is Worship Readiness because we believe parents and their children should worship together.
