What is God's heart for his children living in poverty? What is it like to be homeless or addicted? And how are we as followers of Jesus called to respond to those in our city and world living with these struggles? Join us on this weekend journey to discover for yourself.
What || A weekend experience in the city of Memphis, in partnership with the people of Jacob's Well, catching just a glimpse of what it means to struggle in poverty, homelessness, etc. We'll learn through experience, teaching, and hands-on actvities.
Who || Adults ages 18+; will consider teenagers with parents.
Where || Highland Heights UMC, at the corner of Summer Ave. and Highland; also home to Jacob's Well church. We'll spend the majority of our time out in the community.
When || We'll meet at Jacob's Well at 5:30pm on the Friday of the event, and we are finished at 10am on the following Sunday.
Cost || The cost of this weekend if $35.
